2017 Millstone Borough Heavy Trash Clean-up Day

Millstone Borough’s 2017 Annual Clean Up Day will be conducted on Monday, June 5th, 2017 between the hours of b.

The rubbish should be placed curbside prior to 5:00 AM on collection day. Only bulky trash such as furniture, lumber, construction debris, appliances, bundled brush and tree parts will be collected.  Smaller items should be bagged, canned or bundled so that one person can easily handle it.

The following items WILL NOT be collected:

Hazardous materials (fuels, paints and pesticides), tires, loose items, masonry debris, and items heavier than 200 lbs and longer than 5 ft long. Items containing freon will not be collected without an evacuation tag from a certified technician.

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE ACCEPTED

(TV’s, computers, printers, etc.)

NO TREE STUMPS OR LARGE TREE PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED

Rx Mission Drive-in Drop-off

The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in conjunction with  Somerset County Solid Waste Management Division’s Household Hazardous Waste Program  are partnering to host the 1st “Rx MISSION  DRIVE-IN/DROP-OFF”  medicine collection on Saturday, June 9th, from 9AM to 2PM at the South County Public Works yard, 410 Roycefield Rd., Hillsborough Twp.

The next Operation Shred Day for Somerset Country residents will be held at the Franklin Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane in Somerset on Saturday, October 2nd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  For more information, click here.
