New Schedule for Remaining 2011 Planning Board Meetings

In compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act of the State of New Jersey, this is to advise that the Regular Meetings of the Planning Board for the Borough of Millstone for remainder of the year 2011 has been changed to the first Tuesday of each month, schedule as follows:

July 5
August 2
September 6
October 4
November 1
December 6

All meetings will be held in the Borough Hall, 1353 Main Street, Millstone, New Jersey and begin at 7:30 PM.

Longtime Millstone Resident “Clem” Panettiere Passes

A longtime resident of Millstone Borough, Clementine “Clem” (Berlinski) Panettiere, 102, passes. “Clem” was born in Poland and came to the United States as an infant and had resided in Finderne and Manville before settling to Millstone Borough where she lived for fifty years.

Millstone Borough 2011 Professional Services RFP

The Borough of Millstone is soliciting proposals through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4 et seq.  Sealed RFP responses will be received by the Borough Clerk no later than December 27, 2010 by 4:30 PM local prevailing time in the Borough Hall at 1353 Main Street, Millstone, NJ 08844.

Road Work on Millstone River Road – Starting August 24th

Millstone River Road, (from Hamilton Road to Plumstead Way), Township of Hillsborough. Work on the installation of a sanitary sewer line on this section of River Road is to begin on Tuesday, August 24th and is expected to continue for approximately one month. Traffic will be limited to a single lane between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM therefore alternate routes of travel are suggested to avoid delays. This is a Hillsborough Township project and questions concerning the project are to be directed to the Hillsborough Township Engineer’s office.
